Yellowstone National Park
Family Vacation

We have been to Yellowstone a number of times, but have always found the planning difficult.  There is a lot of unconsolidated information on the web, but it is really hard to discern what is valuable and what is  rabble out there. More to the point, almost none of it is geared toward taking kids. Trying to determine which campsites can be reserved, and which can't; finding where to make the reservations and determining what attractions are close by is likewise challenging. There is just so much to keep track of when planning a trip of this magnitude!  So with that in mind we wrote a guide book for planning family vacations in Yellowstone.  It has everything you need to know in order to plan an amazing and adventurous family vacation.

The book is called "Yellowstone National Park with Kids", and it is available from Amazon.  This is actually the first in a series of guide books about visiting the National Parks with kids.  The video to the right contains highlights from our most recent trip to the park, and all the activities we experienced  in the park are reviewed in the book with details on how you can do the same.  Below you will also find a list of some of the key chapters in our book:

  1. 5 Tips for getting the most from your vacation
  2. Top sights to see in each region
  3. Fun Yellowstone adventures with kids
  4. Your first Yellowstone backpacking trip
  5. Guide to the Geysers
  6. Sample itineraries
  7. ... and many more!

Our book will save you countless hours of research and give you first hand knowledge of great activities for kids. Furthermore, all of the information in the book is divided by which region of the park it is located in. This will save you hours of driving since all of your day's planned activities can be organized by location, enabling you to make the most of your time in the park.

We are confident that this little book will make a big difference in  planning your trip of a lifetime!
