Oh, spring is in the air! When the days are getting longer and the ground is warming from the added sunlight, the bulbs and flowers can’t stand to stay underground and neither can we! On a recent gorgeous spring day I took our 4 boys out for a hike in Liberty Lake Regional Park. We brought along the GPS so we could do a bit of geocaching while we hiked. Before heading out we stopped at the dollar store to pick up a few small goodies to leave in any caches we might find. Once the boys had chosen their items they couldn’t wait to get going.
Moving on we searched for and found the last cache. From our vantage we could see that we were on the other side of the marshy delta. By now we had been out for about 2 hours so we decided to head home. Once back at the car, everyone agreed that we had a marvelous time. The boys are excited to return and explore the many more miles of trails on mountain bikes next time. Five thumbs up for Liberty Lake Regional Park!
